Dr. Prasun Kumar Das, APRACA Secretary General to lead the FAO publication on ‘Green Finance as a Critical Lever for Delivering Sustainable Agrifood System- A Global Landscape study along with Dr. Azeta Cungu of FAO. This document is an inclusive commentary on the current status of green finance to agrifood sector in the global south and its support system and may be useful for discussion for the upcoming COP28 in Dubai.

APRACA and SAFIN organized a webinar on “climate finance for farmers organizations” on 25 October 2023. Three important financial institutions (Land Bank, BAAC and ARDB) joined the conversation with the farmers organizations to discuss the issues and challenges to integrate climate finance with the credit programme.

FAO-RAP organized Webinar on ‘Breaking Barriers: Gender Equality, Water, and Financial Inclusion in Agrifood Systems in Asia and the Pacific, as part of the celebration of the International Day of Rural Women in the region on 17 October 2023. APRACA actively participated in the celebration and the APRACA Secretary General was a speaker in this event.
