APRACA Secretariat organized a meeting with the Pula Advisors, UC-Berkeley and PwC, Nepal and Agricultural Development Bank of Nepal to explore the possibilities of partnership to develop blended insurance product for small farmers in Nepal
APRACA participated in the first meeting of the consortium (SEI, ADA, Earthwake & APRACA) to discuss the modalities of implementation of IKI grant project on ‘Preparing the inclusive green finance ecosystem for scaled-up international private sector climate finance for adaptation and mitigation by vulnerable communities in Asia-Pacific’. The consortium started meeting on every Thursday for 4 months to complete the process of responding to the queries of the donor agency.
A meeting with the concerned officials of FAO, DOF (Royal Government of Thailand) and SEAFDEC was organized to discuss regarding implementation strategies of the new small grant project on ‘Access to credit and microfinance services by the SSF in Thailand’.
APRACA invited Mr. Suriyan Vichitlekarn, Executive Director, Mekong Institute (an intergovernmental agency based in Thailand) to explore cooperation between the two agencies in the areas of agricultural development and financing facilities across the Greater Mekong Sub-region.

APRACA Secretary General presented a paper on developing financial service programme in Asia during the Webinar on ‘Guidelines for microfinance and credit services in support of small-scale fisheries’ held jointly by CAI-SSF, APRACA and AFRACA.
APRACA and FAO jointly organized a Webinar on ‘Suitable Digital Technology Solutions to Promote Smallholder Finance in Asia’. This webinar which was addressed by the topnotch experts from the banking Industry and policy makers and joined by 164 participants from Asia and other continents.
The College of Agricultural Banking (CAB) and APRACA jointly organized an international Webinar on ‘International best practices in financing smallholder farmers’ held. The speakers in the webinar were drawn for the World Bank, IFC, IFAD and APRACA members from various sub-region of Asia-Pacific. This webinar was participated by 145 participants from all across the globe.
