Beijing, 12 May 2025 – With the valued support and coordination of the APRACA Secretariat, the International Department of the Agricultural Development Bank of China (ADBC), in collaboration with the ADBC Yunnan Branch, formally hosted a visit from the delegation of the Chiang Mai University Savings and Credit Cooperative in Yunnan Province, China.

The visit, held on the morning of May 12, was marked by cordial exchanges, insightful discussions, and mutual understanding, further promoting regional collaboration in rural finance. The event received high-level attention from ADBC, with Mr. Chen Xiaodong, Deputy General Manager of the International Department, traveling from Beijing along with two officials from the Division of International Exchange and Cooperation to attend the meeting. They were joined by Mr. Dong Chengliang, General Manager of the Yunnan Branch, Mr. Lin Song and Mr. Huang Lin, Deputy General Managers of the Yunnan Branch, in officially welcoming the Thai delegation.

The program featured a roundtable discussion focused on cross-border cooperation in rural financial development and cooperative strengthening, a group photo session, and the exchange of promotional videos showcasing each institution’s core missions and development initiatives.

The Chiang Mai University Cooperative delegation expressed their sincere appreciation for the warm reception and professional arrangements. They also conveyed that an official letter of gratitude would be issued, with a copy shared with the APRACA Secretariat.
